WHAT IS POWER FLOW YOGA ?

Power Flow Yoga is one of the many ramifications of Yoga and is characterized by the sequence of postures, emphasizing the dynamism and tone of the movements. Attached to the tradition of yoga, it stands out however by its fluid choreographic transitions, its gymnastic strength and the work on breath and cardio. In this regard, it is close to vinyasa which favors postural progression while synchronizing movements and breathing. For all these reasons, fitness enthusiasts will benefit from the practice of Power Flow Yoga.

HOW DOES THE POWER FLOW YOGA TRAINING RUN ?

After a presentation of the philosophy of Power Flow Yoga and an intensive practice of the technical repertoire and the series of poses, the training is oriented on the understanding of the global system thanks to sessions of decomposition posture after posture. At the end of this first phase, participants will be invited to express their creativity in workshops organized with the trainer. At the end of the training, you will be able to present a stylish choreography imbued with elegant movements.

At the heart of the Total Freestyle philosophy is an innovative concept: designing the physical effort of the disciplines of fitness and wellness in its artistic and aesthetic dimension. Power Flow yoga is part of this mindset. Indeed, this yoga training is a compromise between rigorous movements, technically precise and a gentle, graceful gesture that brings him closer to tai chi. For TF Formation, all the choreographed sequences must be constructed with flexibility and mastery of the body, both on the muscular and respiratory levels.

POWER FLOW YOGA ACCORDING TO THIBAULT 

You have been practicing yoga for almost twenty years, what has been your spiritual and bodily evolution within this discipline ?

As a former freestyler, yoga helped me to refocus, to be more attentive to my emotions, but also to be more flexible and more articular mobility. Yoga is very helpful in recovery.

What ties you to the big Total Freestyle family ?

I have had a great career in freestyle fitness, so I feel connected to this team, if only by practicing this activity which has occupied almost fifteen years of my life. Besides, the yoga training that I put together is the equivalent of what Total Freestyle does for fitness. Elegance, precision, flexibility of movement are all qualities that I want to transmit to the instructors who follow the Power Flow Yoga training. Also, let’s not forget that two important ingredients for Total Freestyle are fun and fun. I obviously add them to my recipe !

What do you think the Power Flow Yoga training will bring to the trainees ?

The trainees will be more aware of their bodies and their feelings. This yoga training will of course give them knowledge, but also another way to put everything in perspective.

What are the main keys to setting up a Power Flow Yoga class ?

The first key opens the door to a dimension that I would call “philosophy of the perspective of movement”, that is to say a different way of seeing bodily movement. Then, intuition plays a key role in carrying out a yoga class. Finally, the trainees leave with a structured framework that will allow them to give an elaborate course focused on recreational pleasure.
